Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) -webinar

Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) -webinar will be held on Thursday 20th of August 2020 at 8:30-9:15 – please, enrol to the webinar via this link.

Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) is a mandatory pre-requisite in a variety of cases where personal data is processed in a way that is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons. Examples of such processing operations are systematic monitoring of data subjects and processing of special categories of personal data. You can read more about the Impact Assessment from the pages of Office of Data Protection Ombudsman.

At this DPIA webinar you will learn e.g.:

  • the purposes and benefits of performing a DPIA
  • how DPIA can serve as evidence of embedding Privacy by Default and Design
  • how to successfully conduct a DPIA in practice

As a result of DPIA, there is:

  • a systematic description of the assessed processing activities,
  • an assessment of the necessity and proportionality,
  • a comprehensive assessment of the risks to the rights and freedoms of the data subjects and
  • a documented measure to demonstrate accountability.

The speaker of the DPIA -webinar is Maria Macocinschi, Privacy Specialist of Privaon.

Please, enrol to the webinar via this link.
